Glycolic Peel

Re: Glycolic Peel

^I use a toner that has 5% glycolic acid, I have blemishes and discoloration that I want to get rid of so I want to try a peel, but I don't want it to be too strong because I have sensitive skin. Should I try a product 10% or 25% of the acid?

Re: Glycolic Peel

get 25% one and then if its strong for you just dilute it with distilled water...

Re: Glycolic Peel

^thankyou!

Re: Glycolic Peel

50% is way to strong to start off with. Usually dermatogolists start patients off with 10% and then slowly to 20% then 30% and usually people get satisfactory resultswith 30%max but if they dont then they can exceed to 40%then 50%. DO NOT START OFF WITH 50%! IT IS VERY HARSH AND YOUR SKINS NEEDS TO GET USED TO THE LOWEST AMOUNT FIRST.

Re: Glycolic Peel

hey u said in a different thread that u use the DDF toner, i was thinking of getting it for my acne scars, did u see a difference with it?

Re: Glycolic Peel

where to get the 50% glycolilc acid....???

Re: Glycolic Peel

Is using the ddf face wash AND the toner too much?

Re: Glycolic Peel

Could i know the product names please which contains higher amount of glycolic thingy?

Re: Glycolic Peel

Not at all unless you have sensitive skin...DDF wash has only 2%...not sure about the toner though.

Re: Glycolic Peel

I know that DermaDoctors face wash has a higher about of Glycolic..10 0r 15%...and after that comes DDF. its not allowed to put so much in face washes etc thats why they have peels seperately.
