Former Iraqi Defence Minister Sultan Hashim Ahmed has been given effective immunity from prosecution following his surrender to US forces.
Mr Ahmed - number 27 on the Americans’ list of most wanted former Iraqi officials - gave himself up in the northern city of Mosul on Friday.

I think that may well happen.
Giving immunity to this guy just shows that the US occupation regime will work the Baathists when it suits them, especially as the stooges they have put in "power" command very little or no respect from the Iraqi people.
