Actually - I'm with punching monk on this. Due to where I work, I developed a habit of not swearing, but I have a lot of awesome girl friends who swear when they're upset.
Like PM said - sometimes they're so upset, nothing else seems to come out!
When i worked in the Forces, my mouth was as dirty as a garbage bin…
Now i have kids, i’ve bcome more mellow and calm, and i actually don’t swear anymore…
And yeah, i see these hijaabans walking around, effing and blinding… thinking it’s cool… vulgar interjections are not necessarily the way to ‘vent’… like dildirani said you wouldn’t answer your mother like that, so why others?

As I said coming from pak first I was shocked. But then I realized girls in pak dont have much on there plate . u know....
Life is rather simple there.
what the frak...its not a girl swearing vs. boy swearing issue. I HATE it when people make it that. Why is it acceptable for a man to swear? It should be about PEOPLE who swear.

Innit!
I do swear, an eff and blind is sometimes needed.
I know a LOT of PEOPLE who claim they do not swear, yet when the circumstances require them to do so, they do. Circumstances meaning swearing to people but not to their faces!
If someones a KKB, you call them a KKB so they know not to be a KKB again.
I mostly swear at myself when angry. However, me and my close cousins refer to each other with pubjabi curse words as we dont take it seriously.

Moderator - can we ask that the title of the thread be changed to something more succinct so that the girls of GS don’t mistakenly think their opinion is being sought? :halo:
I've heard guys say that they get turned off by girls who sport a sailor's mouth, LOL. Perhaps it's because society sees swearing/cursing as an aggressive quality more typical of men....and therefore not lady-like for a woman. It's one of those gender role issues. In olden days, even in western culture, a common saying was, "Women should be seen and not heard."
In my opinion, it doesn't matter if a guy or a girl is doing the swearing/cursing. It's a huge turn off either way. I can understand if one slips out of uncontrollable anger. But it's especially irritating when you encounter people (male or female) whose EVERY OTHER WORD is the F-word. **"So, I F-in woke up in the morning. And used the F-in bathroom and changed into my F-in clothes. And then I had my F-in cereal went to F-in work and I was late so my F-in boss was giving me an F-in hard time." **Know what I mean? To me it feels like........the person has a **VERY LIMITED **vocabulary....and even intelligence....in a way. There are numerous adjectives that one can use to express themselves. For the most part, it sounds unclassy.
