i’m guessing you and others are referring to general dress when saying “cover up”, but i would like to know your opinion on this issue with regards to hijab/burka specifically (which is what most muslims mean when they say “cover”)
disregarding whatever malhot is talking about, i think you can agree that there is a pretty blatant correlation between the hijab-wearing portion of muslim girls and the not-so-good-looking portion of muslim girls. perhaps not as much in countries where all women are required or forced to cover up, but in societies where they have some degree of choice, which includes many areas of Pakistan and much of the Western diaspora ← where all my observations have been made.
a few of my muslim friends always jokingly complain that all the hot pakistani girls are slutty and all the hijabis (both of these friends require hijabi wives) are fat or ugly.
i’m sure there are exceptions, but i too have noticed a correlation. logic could probably be applied as well.

No nikhil ur wrong. I know many hijabis, and they are absolutely gorgeous. When they dress up (at all girl-gatherings), do thier hair, put on some makeup, they look beautiful, and the fact that they take that step to cover up their beauty (im talkin bout tru hijabis, not those who r forced) ought to be applauded. Instead they're called fat and ugly, but then again those guys, like ur so-called Muslim buddies r fobby morons (no offense to fobs). I dunno where ure living but all the hijabis i've seen are good looking, and no it's not a "my definition of beauty is diff than yours" they r actually quite attractive, much more so than any girl you or they cud get :p

hey now, there’s no need to take it personally.
perhaps you have a few exceptions in mind…but you are arguing as if that is the standard, which is clearly not true. to be fair, in any community, only a minority of girls (or guys for that matter) are considered good-looking…so for you to claim that a sub-section of a community that actually carries a reputation of being not-so-good-looking is actually predominantly gorgeous…well, its just not very plausible.
why would anybody call good-looking girls fat and ugly if they are not? and i’m talking about guys who have a lot of muslim pride…they’d be the first to brag about good-looking ones.
i wouldn’t take them seriously if i hadn’t made similar observations.
i made these observations in the US…but i can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that my comments are exemplified nowhere better than in the UK, especially in London. it’s so precise…almost mathematical.

In Australia we have a couple of smart & good looking muslims girls, who do not cover up, and work in our office.
I have seen some plumpy muslim ladies all covered up - maybe it's a convenient way not to look after your body, and easy way out( lazy) since no company would employ them.

depends on the nature of employment.
a fat and ugly girl would be totally fine in an accounting job. but, for example, many sales/marketing positions will be better suited to the good-lookers, who rely on the whole package. whether chauvinistic or not, that is how things work. actually, the same applies for men.

We have this muslim baji over here from dehli and she is really stylish. The style in dehli or of dehli doesn't have to do just with hindu's. It is all over dehli I guess... be it hindu, muslim, or whatever just like the girls of karachi are considered more stylish and confident then any other part of the country.

Dude I am surrounded by Indian girls here, trust me they are nothing special.. All very skimpy dressed but they are mingers compared to decently dressed Paki girls, all the Indian chicks I’ve seen have dull skin and kaangrro built.
I know there’s exceptions and you get some ugly Indian-looking Pakis and some hot Paki-looking Indians but they are a minority, the vast majority of Paki birds look fresh and elegant and Paki lads look beefy and masculine whilst Indian girls and boys are both dirty mingerz!!
I admit a lot of Punjabi Sikhs tend to be well hottt, they look Pakistani if they’re not *Keshdari *but they’re a minority in India and a majority in Pakistan followed by Pashtuns who are also really hottt in their own way… I suppose other regions directly bordering us such as Indian occupied Kashmir and Delhi are quite yummy too but people don’t see these when they think ‘India’, despite the Paki looking Bollywood actors people still know most Indians look like that greasy and dull-looking geek at their college or office and Pakis look like the bad boys who beat up their son, or someone who’d playing in their cricket team or boxing for their country…

lazy- I agree, God has made women beautiful all over the world. CC Babu thinks being lighter skinned, means beautiful-well he's wrong.
The south Indain women are dark-but man, some of them have such beautiful features!! Onke nain naksh kisi sey kum nahi.
