MULTAN: Unidentified armed men kidnapped Ali Haider Gilani, son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani from a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) corner meeting in Multan, Geo News reported.

According to details, armed men opened fire in the meeting and injured five people including Ali Haider’s secretary Mohiuddin, who later succumbed to injuries.

Police said Ali Haider Gilani was taken in a black Honda City. The kidnappers came on motorcycles and had the car with them. Entry and exit points of the city have been sealed.

The brother of Ali Haider, Ali Musa Gilani said elections in Multan should be postponed after the kidnapping.

The name of kidnapped son is Ali Haider not Ali Musa.. let's pray for his safety..

Ideally the elections of the constituencies of ali haider gillani (if more then one ) should get cancelled - the rest should get done as per plan ! Why whole multan if he is not found ?

No point of the threats coming out of gillanis mouths
