I am sure USA is laughing when Pakistani politicans warn of "dire consequences" in future if they violate Pakistan's sovereignity again. Even people of Pakistan dont take their politicians seriously so why will USA?
And why are they talking about dire consequences "next time"? Are we going to sit with hands folded till it happens again? What steps are we going to take to create a noise about being violated this time?
I compare it to...if a woman gets raped, is she going to warn the rapist of dire consequences of raping next time; or is she going to make sure he gets punished this time?

Seriously you cannot truly judge a person's governance skills unless they have been in power. As a politician you only get the real picture of how bad things are economy, employment, power, education and health wise or how messed up your finances are once you are in government

IK missed the golden chance of take off. He had a chance to change the direction of national politics. But as usual he gave the most stupid statement and yet again proved himself to be most incompetent person and failed politician. His PTI sucks, it is more like a tonga party rather than real political force. No agenda, no plan, no vision, and no future.
tau aap he bata do what IK or any sensible person is supposed to say here, hail bloody incompetent & useless PPP government and military intelligence and say they have done a fantastic job here

some one please tell him that more then 90 % of Pakistani population couldn't understand the language , in which the speech was conducted ....
why are we so ashamed of being Pakistanis and using the things ( such as our national language in this case ) associated to Pakistan ...

Well, Gilian had to walk a tight rope. He had to reassure the public, and the US that Pakistan is doing all it can under the circumstances , while keeping the $$ meter rolling from uncle sam. It was hard balancing act, and I think he came short on all points. The fact is, elected govt has no control over army or ISI and what they are doing, ye it has face the humiliation b/c its the govt.

Malik claimed that PML-N received funding from Osama bin Laden, whereas the PML-N also provided treatment to the wounded Al Qaeda chief.**
Speaking at the National Assembly, Malik said the Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar’s claim that the government was sleeping while bin Laden operation was baseless.
Malik informed that he had phoned DIG Abbottabad and the prime minister about the incident.
He also said that orders have been issued for investigation of the Abbottabad operation.
**Malik alleged that PML-N had embraced Osama bin Laden and was responsible for bringing him from Egypt to Pakistan for his treatment.
He further said that those talking against the ISI and the army were accomplices of the Al Qaeda chief.**

This Malkoo N is actually responsible for this all.
He is the boss of all civilian security and intelligence organizations.
In side government he is counted powerful than Gilani due to his links with establishment through Malik Riaz.
Why not inquired ?

There was no reason for US to tell him, Two powers which can resist were army and on smaller scale Police, Both were not in command of Malkoo N. If there were some aides of US ,they must be there. I was talking about presence of OBL previously.

PS Seriously, if PPP had any shame left, they would have gotten rid of him a long time ago. Pakistan doesn't need more jokers as it is to further cement the banana republic image.

Ch Nisar and Rahman Malik are same for their parties and leaders,disaster but backed by establishment. Nisar now looks retired hurt but this man is here till total disaster of PPP.

Apart from sherry rehman, I really don't see any decent national material in PPP. BB had finally started to speak good urdu this time but she was a disaster nonetheless in her previous stints.
