I firmly believe that gifts are a reflection of our own tastes and personality, so I would never give anything that I would never use myself, regardless of the price tag. For kids, clothes are always appreciated, bags for women and shirts or ties for men. I stock up on post christmas sales, good brands on sale and best time for gift buying.
well tastes only matter if they are aware of the brands. i do know that people living in karachi, lahore and isloo are fully aware of brands and will also spend. but not everyone lives in khi-lahore-isloo.
lol. sometimes i wana gifts to the maids and servants over there, rather then sending or giving any to my actual relatives. ( its just in my head. )
