I just took my niece shopping and she choose a whole set of " pinkilicious" books! she was super excited about them!

Buy her regular Lego sets!! The girl sets are so meh.

Agreed, the whole Friends line has some underlying issues. Still, I’m glad to see that Lego is at least acknowledging that women exist (and can hold jobs in STEM fields: vet, scientist, inventor). My siblings and I didn’t have a single female Lego figure as a child and we had quite the stash of Legos.
