I'm of the same thought. I'm a grown up and don't really want a cutsie room with hearts and teddy bears.
So I guess it depends on what your fiance is like. If she is more girlie and likes the cutsie stuff, you can go for the teddy bear and charms and stuff.
Otherwise, I would suggest doing what the earlier posters said and get her something that relates to her hobbies, likes passions etc.
I've never heard of giving u're fiance/fiancee things at an uncle's wedding scratches her head
I agree with SU..anything with hearts and "I love you's" are yuck!
When my friend got engaged, she went to this store called, Things Remembered, (I think that's what it was called) to get a gift. It has some pretty cool stuff. You can get a pen with her name engraved on it. That way she'll think of you every time she uses it ;) Or you can get a picture frame, or jewelry box with a special personalized message engraved on it.

Give her a diamond pendant, my husband got me a gorgeous champagne diamonds wala pendant on our anniversary this year, LOVED it.

You can give her a beautiful designers dupatta or traditional embriodered dupatta , it is a sign of respect and protection that you will be for her for your whole life and alos your life so choose wisly and with your heart.
