Hiba, i ve a question for u as u r a different kind of a viewer.......tell me that when u first stop to some channel tu aap kis liye rokte ho actor dekh ker ya strong visual dekh ker??
well,main direction dekh ker b rukti hoon aur artist dekh ker bhi,meri nazar serial k har point per hoti hai,direction,story,dialogues and dialogue delivery,acting,artists etc etc.in main se aik cheez strong ho baqi weak to phir kia faida..
main un channels per nahi rukti jahan indian influence ho..i always stop on Hum tv lakin ab Hum k serials main bhi indian influence nazar a raha hai..i think moomal ko sirf achay novels dramatize kernay chayee..ye indian aur western influence se log attract nahi hon ge..Jo standard DDD aur MOS ka tha woh aj kal ki serials main nazar nahi ata hai..

Mr.lordy if you think its the good visual which attracts the viewer at first glance then you are wrong. I think a normal viewer (one who is not a technical person i.e. house wives, comman man) is always attracted to an actor first then comes the dialougs or story.
Seconldy, somehow if someone stops while browsing the channels upon a good visual, even then it is not a promise for a good content.

Bohut kam aysa hota hay k sab cheezain perfect hon. Dont u think these days plays are shot in a much better way than of those whihc we used to see on PTV long time back....magar phir bhi PTV k plays bettter hote thay just because of the story and acting.
zaruri nahi k sab kuch perfect ho tow hi chez achi hogi.

Both of you at some level agree with my point of 'VISUAL ATTRACTION'. Muger mujhe feel hoa hai ke aap log isko accept nahi kerna chahte. Listen story & acting are the most most important aspect of any drama serial, i agree.
but Ms. Hiba & Ms. Zaib these things will come after the viewer stay to any channel/drama. kunke aap direction ya story ya acting 3 sec mai nahi dekh sakte muger aik shot/frame aap 3 sec mai dekh lete hai. and sometimes u saw a good actor with a bad frame or visual, then u certainly dont stay to that channel.
Aur mai us cheez ki baat ker raha ho jo very first time screen per ati hai for example upcoming play ka Ad or promo or scene.
This is my point of view & i ve experienced it so many times. plz dont take it rude!
zaib main yehi to kehna chah rahi hoon k aj kal har cheez perfect nahi hoti isliye serials flop ho rahay hain,same cast same story se sirf aik serial hit hota hai sab nahi..
20lordy aap ki baat sun ker muje ye feel ho raha hai k aap ka sara focus visual per hota hai,on one hand u agree tht story n acting r most important aspect but end main aap ghoom phir ker wohi strong visual per a jatay hain..strong visual ki importance apni jaga lakin jab tak story aur acting powerful nahi ho gi to serial kaisay chalay ga??pehlay ptv k pas technical facilities nahi hoti thi but story,acting ,script itnay powerful hotay thai k log khud attract hotay thai..
when i see promo of a new serial i first see its writer n director names..ghost k kuch scene main ne isi waja se dekhai lakin muje samj nahi ata k umera Ahmed ko kia ho gaya hai...
means producers directors sirf majority k liye serials banatay hain n they know 90% our viewers r house wives and ordinary people,so aik fuzool serial bhi chal jai ga aur us ko ads bhi mil jain ge..this is reality :D
but the viewers like us should point out their mistakes so that they wont do that again..

woh to poori serial main roye ga us ko aur kaam hi kia hai,tou kia tum bhi roti raho gi?
kuch nahi ho ga lakin i’m sure k meri baat directors producers tak zaror pohchay gi..ab amal kerna na kerna un ka kam hai.
