Well queer dude - I am a skeptic like you, although I will choose my words more cautiously in slamming AAHO
I think most of these ahadeeth are classified as “hasan” and are from **Sunan of Imam Nisai **and the masnad of Imam Ahmed . One other source mentioned is the compilation of Ustadh ibn hammad who was a teacher of Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail al Bukhari . However I am surprised that none of the scholars who delve into the authentic ahadeeth discussions ever discuss them. Only our indopak ulema are heavily engaged in this discussion near a lot of them any thing called a hadith is true and they don’t want to treat hasan ahadith different to Saheeh ones.
I did ask a scholar once about these and they said, “well it is a hasan hadith (in reference to the people from khurasan coming in black turbans) but most of the scholars believe that this event already occuered before and after the temuri fitnah and it has already passed” And Allah knows best.
I am extremely skeptical of Mr. Zaid Hamid though. The biggest thing I don’t like about him is his self claimed expertise in all these matters.
Those who contradict that understanding of it having happened already, argue that it has not come to be yet. Reason for that as presented is, because after the Army returns from the conquest of Hind, Prophet Isa (a.s.) has already descended in Damascus, and they head to ashShaam (Syria) right after the conquest to join him in the ultimate defeat of adDajjal.
