“Divorce and manumission do not count in case of Ighlaq.”

Ahmad, Abu Dawood and Ibn Maajah narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: **“There is no divorce and no manumission in the event of ighlaaq.” **The majority of scholars said that ighlaaq means compulsion or anger, i.e., intense anger. For his anger made him unaware of what he was saying, so he is like one who is unconscious, insane or drunk, because of the intensity of his anger. So divorce does not take place in this instance. If he does not realize what he is doing and cannot control his words or actions because of the intensity of his anger, then divorce does not take place.
Anger may be of three types:
1 – When a person is angry and is no longer aware of what he is doing. This is likened to the insane, so divorce does not take place according to all scholars.
2 – Where a person is very angry but is still aware of what is going on, but his anger is so intense that it makes him say the words of divorce. In this case too, divorce does not take place according to the correct scholarly opinion.
3 – The ordinary type of anger which is not very intense. In this case, divorce takes place, according to all the scholars.

a man who divorce his wife in such a hurry does not deserve to be married again and with that woman no way. There is always a logic behind Allah’s rule and this rule protects women from such men.

PS: in my point of view there is no such thing as halala this is just an invention by some muftis and maulvis.

As per some Sunni School of thoughts , that is true for a third divorce , first two times they can shack up without the need of a nikah.

I’m sure you do know that inventing lies about deen and falsely accusing people is a grave sin. Do you have any proof for your “point of view”? It’s quite strange that for 14 centuries there weren’t Muslims like you among our pious ancestors who could advice and notify rest of the Muslims about this error which everyone believed in and practised.

Yes so let’s say Hamida and Kareem divorce. A few months later they realize it was a mistake and really want to get married to each other again, Hamida must marry another man, sleep with him, then he needs to divorce her, then after she completes her iddat period, she is free to marry Kareem again. This is halala.

However, you have to be cautious of the “intentions” behind it all. So if you are marrying this other man for the sole purpose of consummating and divorcing, your intentions aren’t right. Only Allah can judge whether this will be accepted or not.

What i have seen regarding halala is that “the lady marries the other guy (so that the other guys can divorce him and she can get married to the first one again)----she gets the divorce without having to sleep with the other guy”

ofcourse act of halala is clearly worng. if she got/get divorce for the second time for some other reasons then its fine to remarry the first husband again. Also this is the last time for the first hubby and wife to be together. if he divorces her again then they cannot get back together through any means.
