Getting Married in Pakistan Traveling with Birth Control

Re: Getting Married in Pakistan Traveling with Birth Control

I say put them in your big bag but ask that your bag be checked away from family.

Are you taking a laptop bag or personal carry-on?

Why are you sharing luggage? Second put them in a toiletry travel bag

Pakistan does not sell Magnums, some of us need larger condoms you know.

Re: Getting Married in Pakistan Traveling with Birth Control

Why not help the poor shopkeeper in your country and buy condoms in Pakistan. Its not that hard to find.

TSA typically goes through your bag if they see something suspicious during the xray. To avoid being stopped, do not pack anything sharp like cuticle scissors, metal nailfile, swiss army knife, etc. Also be mindful of the amount of liquid toiletries you take by keeping it under the allowed limit. When they do the careful examination of a passenger’s carry-on, they don’t allow other people including your traveling party to crowd around you. Plus they don’t remove everything and examine it, typically just poke around your bag quickly to determine the item that was red flagged by the xray.

I suggest that you pack your condoms in a toiletries bag and check in. Even if you are sharing your suitcase, the other person would not go through a smaller bag which does not belong to them. If your are worried that they would, just have them in a separate bag than your toiletries bag (incase your toiletries get flagged). TSA hones in to liquids over 3.4oz.

Re: Getting Married in Pakistan Traveling with Birth Control

You won't be having a direct flight right? buy them at some transit airport pharmacy along with some painkillers etc perhaps?family will be too tired to notice what you getting..i'm sure you can get away from them for bits to get your things. The airport security won't bother checking inside a sealed pharmacy labelled pack,as long as you have a receipt.

hey, hope you're not planning to take a whole big parcel full of them, hence the worrying about hiding them? khehe

In that case, till fall you have enough time to purchase imported stuff in Pakistan,
Or till then get in touch with wife-to-be and tell her you'd like her to start taking BCPs.
Better get embarassed infront of wife, instead of the whole airport!!!! :p
