Re: Getting Married in Pakistan Traveling with Birth Control
Even with items that are allowed…there is always a chance that your carry-on will flagged for screening. Its happened to me multiple times even when I didn’t have anything “again the rules”. Although when it goes get flagged, you can always let the agent know that you would prefer to have your bag checked in a private/screened off area.
So? I assume the relative you’re sharing the bag with is also a guy right? I can completely understand you being uncomfortable in front of your mother/sister or other females relatives regarding this…but have no idea why you’re so worried about it in front of your dad/brother/other MALE relatives?
We’re talking about condoms here…not kinky toys.
You’re getting married. Everyone knows you’re about to be sexually active. Worst case scenario…even if the relative you’re sharing the bag with sees your items…it might be embarrasing but it’s really not that big of a deal.
Putting them in the checked in bag in the best idea. Even if you’re sharing the bag, buy a small toiletary bag and put the condoms in a plastic ziplock bag inside it. And I’m also assuming no one is going to open your suit case in front of ALL other family members (after all…you’ll have other personal items like underwear there).
P.S. I’m sure you already know this but condoms can break. If you haven’t already…please discuss your concerns with you future wife and see if she’s willing to get on the pill or some other tyep of birth control.
