YET…I;ve never asked anyone to drop off/pick up or watch my kids. Thats MY job. I’d just feel SO funny and so lacking as a mom if I had to call someone and say “I’m haviing a pedicure, can you pick up my son?” kwim? Better to be a bit late and doit meself…

I get where you’re coming from. But if you’re worried about looking too vain you could always tell her you’re getting a mammogram instead of a pedicure.
