well it depends if they're gonna syndicate content from India as well, but if not, then yes, 10 is going to be a surplus for the generally contended current viewership basis.
I can see upto 6 channels doing ok:
- News (yes, this is where they started from and their core competency)
- General Entertainment (dramas / teleplays / talk-shows)
- Music (yes, no dearth of content here... videos/talk shows/charts)
- Movies (yes, but this one's gotta be Pak/Indian)
- Regional Punjabi (idea sounds ok... not sure of feasibility)
- Regional Sindhi (idea sounds ok... not sure of feasibility)
