^^^ Why blame media? Your hero (Zardari) is going down from self-inflected wounds. No one really expected Zardai to be competent leader, but he had chance to hijack popular agenda and run with it, like judge issues, instead of being forced to eat the humble pie. The NRO was his latest screw up...now he is going after media. If stupidity was commodity Zardari would be richest man on planet.
^ The govt has no right to ban them just because they say something which they don't like. This same PPP was up in arms when Musharraf banned the same programme. Hypocrites.

How many channels and shows would they ban? They even had issues with Hum Sab Umeed Se Hain where politicians were being made fun of. It's easy to laff at others and have a good time, sadly they couldn't take it upon themselves!
I have no issues with the show itself, IF only they'd select a better person to host the show!

If the Gov is unable to take the Criticism against them i think they should stop operating , i mean what is this When some else does the same thing it is Wrong & when you do it it is right, it always happened in Past when ever Media Tried to be fir & put forward the realy Picture of Corrupt Gov , Be it any Gov , They are always silenced.

I remember last days of Nawaz rule in 90's when FIA used to raid newsprint roll (paper) trucks from going to JANG press. It is very true that press reflects peoples opinion. People are not happy at all. Massive corruption scandals and characterless politicians.

^ this program is on current affairs of Pakistan, and host has his own opinion wide open and also invite other live or over the phone to participate, its daily aired after the news time.
PPP and this government couldnt face it again and had to ban like this. some people talking its aired from dubai against Pakistan etc, this was the reason they actually moved to dubai to fend off some local govt pressure.
i suggest they should move to UK for more free media rights and keep airing to Pakistan!

Good move, i support it. You like it or not.. Asif Ali Zardari is the constitutionally president of Pakistan, by that his office deserve respect. This dr. shahid personal hatred against him, crossing the lines, its good he got shut up call.

Shahid Masood deserves not to be on air waves.
He is the one who deliberately put Zardari live on air when he was clearly told that the address will be televised as recorded only.

Are you guys kidding me. If its illegal to telecast a video from outside of Pakistan then is it legal to have all your assets you stole from people of Pakistan outside of Pakistan?
And PPP homies do their shows from outside Pak and are not banned. These PPP monkeys can't face the criticism because they have failed everywhere. The steel mill case, KESC, PIA all people looting are somehow related to the current PPP leadership.
