Re: Genuine Compliments to Your face or in Poetry

This man is a visionary.

I remember a girl told me I was cute in grade 8, I just started at her and she was like "ok you're not cute". It was awkward.

Nowadays if a girl complimented me (actually my friend's sister recently did), I just said "Thank You". But it is a little weird, as a guy, to have a girl you don't really know compliment you as someone already mentioned. But this is only because women do it so rarely :)

  1. Is the compliment genuine?

  2. Have you earned the right to pass physical compliments (do you have relationship/friendship close enough)?

  3. Do you know what may sound cheesy and what's not? (this is based on relationship, moment, current frame of mind of the recipient, intention of passing that comment and many more factors)

If the answer to any of the above is NO, the compliment is going to be received as bad taste.

Re: Genuine Compliments to Your face or in Poetry

see i don't see any woman here saying she would slap a man for complimenting her and especially if she's not a stranger to him. no bruises
staring:no
verbally complimenting, speaking one's mind: yes :) i see no negatives
