Lets talk about 55,000 Rohingiyan living in unsettled location Arkanabd, Karachi… They don’t have work permit. They can not access to hospital, healthcare , education…

امريکہ کو رخائن صوبے ميں تسلسل کے ساتھ تشدد کے واقعات پر مبنی رپورٹس اور شہری آباديوں پر منفی اثرات کے حوالے سے شديد تشويش ہے۔
امريکی سفارت خانہ بھی صورت حال پر گہری نظر رکھے ہوۓ ہے۔ ہم رخائن صوبے ميں صورت حال کے حوالے سے برما کی حکومت کے ساتھ رابطے ميں ہيں۔
اب جبکہ حکومت اور سيکورٹی فورسز حملوں کے ذمہ داران کو انصاف کے کٹہرے ميں لانے کے ليے اقدامات کر رہی ہيں تو امريکی حکومت نے واضح کيا ہے کہ اس سارے عمل ميں قانون کی بالادستی اور شفافيت کے ساتھ ساتھ اس بات کا بھی خيال رکھا جاۓ کہ بنيادی انسانی آزادی اور حقوق کے تحفظ کو يقينی بنايا جاۓ اور سيکورٹی فورسز سميت مبينہ تشدد پر مبنی تمام واقعات کی مکمل تحقيق کی جاۓ۔ علاوہ ازيں تمام کميونيٹيز کے ممبران کی حفاظت کے ساتھ ساتھ ہر ممکن امداد کی ترسيل اور مدد کی فراہمی کو بھی يقينی بنايا جاۓ۔
امريکی حکومت ميانمار کی حکومت پر زور دے رہی ہے کہ وہ رخائن صوبے کے ايڈوائزری کميشن کی سفارشات کا بغور جائزہ لے اور ان پر عمل درآمد کرواۓ۔ ان سفارشات ميں مقامی آباديوں کے ليے فعال سيکورٹی اور ان سے بہتر سلوک سے متعلق نقاط بھی شامل ہيں۔

Finally UK has done something which other countries must have done long back. But its never too late
UK suspends aid for Myanmar military - BBC News
The UK government has suspended financial aid to Myanmar’s military amid “ongoing violence” in the country, formerly known as Burma.
Violence in the Rakhine state has seen more than 400,000 Rohingya Muslims flee to neighbouring Bangladesh.
The Ministry of Defence said it had suspended £300,000 of funding until the current situation was resolved.
The UN’s human rights chief has said the violence “seems [like] a textbook example of ethnic cleansing”.
The £300,000-a-year was used to fund educational courses for the country’s military.
But an MoD spokesperson said: “In the light of the ongoing violence… and our deep concern about the human rights abuses that are taking place, we have decided to suspend the educational courses provided to the Burmese military until there is an acceptable resolution to the current situation.”
