hey miss khan, don't worry, i'd say go for a week or two to find the outfit, and the other 2 weeks for the wedding, i know it sounds short.
Me too, I rather go and get my own wedding stuff than rely on other people to get it, want to see it for my self. I've got school holidays so I guess I'm lucky in that sense, so 3 and a half weeks I will have to find my two wedding lenghas and jewellery, then come again in xmas holidays for about 2 weeks for the wedding. I know how u feel about not being able to spend a lot of time in pak, everything is always rush rush, and its alright for the ones that don't have to work. hang in there, it'll all be worth it in the end :)
But to me, 2 weeks finding a walima lengha is more than enough time and probably to get jewellery too, especially if ur in islamabad, there should be a good selection of stuff there.
And 4 weeks to spend in pakistan should be adequate too. Get the wedding done within the first two weeks, then chill for the remainder. you'll be fine inshallah. let us know how it goes.
