GEMSTONES in Islam/Quran

Re: GEMSTONES in Islam/Quran

^^

Gem stones are not used to remove sins.

We also thank ALLAH for creating trees, vegetables, fruits, rocks, water, animals, etc.

We thank GOD for everything.

Re: GEMSTONES in Islam/Quran

Well for me the only stone that can take sins away is the one in KABA...and Akeek etc are stones which are said to be worshipers of Allah as well..so if you read anything on them i.e. as a tasbeeh they recite that thing 100 times and that way you get sawab as well...and maybe they can also take in negative energies etc...but never said anything like black magic which in which amulets save/protect and start glowing etc...that's a totally different thing.. no one here is comparing the stone to Allah nor anyone is saying they are magical..why do people get all deluded and create confusion in a thread i don't get it.

Gemstones were originally worn for medical purposes in Eastern Medicine, they don't have anything to do with Religion. Like I said before, stones, minerals, metals can have positive and negative effects on our bodies. Each individual will get either positive, negative or no results at all from certain elements.

So yeah, Gemstones just like Medicines are "inanimate objects" which CAN help us, but only because Allah has made them for us to cure sicknesses.

Did you read this Hadith that someone posted in this thread?

[QUOTE]
"Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 26 :: Hadith 675
Narrated Zaid bin Aslam from his father who said:

Umar bin Al-Khattab addressed the Corner (Black Stone) saying, 'By Allah! I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet touching (and kissing) you, I would never have touched (and kissed) you.' Then he kissed it and said, 'There is no reason for us to do Ramal (in Tawaf) except that we wanted to show off before the pagans, and now Allah has destroyed them.' 'Umar added, '(Nevertheless), the Prophet did that and we do not want to leave it (i.e. Ramal).

The Kaaba will not wash away your sins.

A stone will not recite anything for you, you will have to do the reciting yourself.

I don't know where you are getting these informations from. Please confirm your informations before you start believing in them. It will also save your money that you might want to spend on a Tasbeeh made out of Akeek.

Re: GEMSTONES in Islam/Quran

Akeek was the first stone that recited name of Allah Ta'alah. On the day of judgement, the whole creation will speak. Everything is praising his name now too but we can't see.

How can you say Kaaba will not wash away our sins when it is mentioned in Hadith that saying a prayer in Kaaba gives x many times sawab. Why do we need to look at Hajar-e-Aswad and also give it Bosa??? It washes away our sins cuz it's from heaven. Don't confuse people here.

Do you know where Bait-al-Mamoor is? It is right above Holy Kaaba and all the Blessings of Allah Ta'allah come down on Kaaba from Bait-al-Mamoor and spread all over earth.

Any references?

The Quran is from GOD, hadith is from Bukhari.
Quran says only GOD has the power to forgive sins (hence, la elaha ella Allah). Hadith says a rock will forgive your sins.
Quran says making up lies and attributing them to GOD is sinful. Hadith ARE lies.
Quran says not to uphold any other source of religious guidance. Hadith IS another source besides Quran.

The question you must ask yourself is whether you trust the Word of GOD (Quran) or the words of men (Bukhari Hadith).
