That was exactly what I meant. Believing inanimate objects can help you, such as a black asteroid being able to remove your sins, when only GOD can remit your sins is shirk.
By the way, I was not referring to medicine and pharmaceuticals. Although, GOD is the one who created all the medicine we have. So, just make sure you thank GOD for the medicine and when you are healed.
