there is a whole bunch of literature on what happens during prenatal development. not just what leads one to be a lesbian or gay. just the tip of the iceberg is the balance of sex hormones in the womb. like they say in urdu: tas say mas ho jaye to baat kahin ki kahin pohnch jaati hai.

well depends where you are accessing it. a lot of what i remember comes from a textbook, which has been written by a really reliable source. a straight, female source, if that helps.

What if there is a genetic predisposition to follow the religion one was born into?

How does bisexuality fit into all of this? Perhaps this is our natural state? Certain cultures allow men to kiss each other...yet others would consider that homoerotic. Does this not imply a cultural bias?

Is autoerotic behavior akin to homosexual behavior? If so, then the population of homosexuals and lesbians has increased by several factors...
