Nothing is a absolute. No religion, not science, not pyschiatric studies. Man continually redefines these things through research, education and experiences.
So was my point. If current day psychiatry defines it not being a disease..whats to say it will not define it as a disease in future?
The argument in defining a mental disorder by psychiatry fails to recognize the followings.....it is an abnormal, unnatural and unusual behaviour rejected by overwhelming majority of the world popultion.
Certainly the nature did not intend to make two men or two women to live together or engage in sexual gratifying acts.
Physically speaking, body parts of male and female are compatible **and **reasonably opposite for their attainment of satisfaction and not only that but have necessary tools available to procreate.
Thats why we see gay couples still looking ways to adopt a child to nurture but cannot procreate themselves. It just occured to me....a question...

There are majority who proscribe to a religion in this world and are happy, satisfied with what they believe.

Slavery, murder of apostates and killing in the name of God have all been accepted over centuries and entire territories of the world. It doesn't mean those views weren't wrong.
The topic is homosexuality. It was NEVER considered as accepted behaviour...meaning NOT ACCEPTED AS NATURAL ACT. So all your examples are invalid.
