Not that I am in any mood to allow myself to get carried away with party politics, won't even bother so trolls stay away. But it is amusing to see that poll that effectively touches upon issues like health, education, economy, security, police, terrorism, women, poverty, corruption, infrastructure, energy crises, foreign policy, industries didn't even get half of the response this thread has received so far. Of course none of these issues remotely matter.

ISLAMABAD - Majority of Pakistanis are satisfied with the performance of incumbent government for its prudent policies to tackle crisis and improve national economy, revealed a survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan.
According to the survey, people were asked whether they are satisfied with the performance of the government, 60 per cent expressed their pleasure over the government performance.

A clear majority of Pakistanis said that the working of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was upto to their expectation while a little per cent suggested some improvement in the government policies.
To another question, 80 per cent Pakistanis were in favour of democratic setup in the country and rejected dictatorship, terming it a disaster for the country.

When asked whether Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan should be made Prime Minister of the country, 52 per cent of them rejected the idea. However, almost 50 per cent of the people surveyed, expressed their willingness to vote the PML-N again in the next general election.
Around 60 per cent of the surveyed people also rejected the idea of appointing Imran Khan as the PM in the current scenario with a thin number favouring it. Around 66 per cent of the people termed Imran Khan’s ongoing anti-government campaign as mere a drama and hoped that he should await the government to complete its tenure.

No, I'm not NS fan, but between IK and NS I'd pick NS any day. At least one is pragmatic enough to know that when push came to shove he went after terrorists & other wanted hand entire tribal area over to Taliban.

Yes off course he is pragmatic, was ordered to come back from a foreign trip by Raheel Sharif to TELL him that military action was going ahead. Sharif didn't resist and Imran Khan didn't resist either and backed the armed forces, didn't he?

Fine you support Nawaz Sharif but at least come up with a better excuse than his stance on extremists/Talibans because EVERYONE in Pakistan know where he stands. Both have similar stances on terrorism whereas Imran is miles ahead when it comes to corruption, foreign assets, tax payments, relief work, credibility, capability etc? Unless you are one those typical PMLN supporters who spend day and night spreading propaganda that Imran collects donations for personal benefits and his charity work is all drama and he funds his party using all those donations?

China had ORDERED Pakistan to go DO the operation. Beggars had to do what the KING said. No other choice. koi auqat hogi to kuch kahogay....

Whether it was sharif, or kayani or anyone else, when China tells you to do something, you be a good slave and do it. Cuz they paid you billions in funds for it. Whether you lose # of soldiers or majors or colonels, it does not matter now.
