i made Gajar ka halwa last night for the first time in my life:P and it turned out to be so fantastic...
first add ghee..and let the cardamom seeds crackle in it..then add milk..let it boil..then add carrots...and khoya ya kalakund..and let it boil again...then lower the flame and keep stirring from time to time...when milk reaches half of its volume..then add more khoya/kalakund...bhuno..then add sugar and keep on stirring..sugar kum daalna if u r adding kalakund..then add 2-3 beaten eggs..keep stirring...when it dries and ghee separates then u r done:) add nuts..enjoy:)
