We call "leg" "laat". I think we speak a very regional dialect of Punjabi. Urdu speakers are funny.

we actually call it dollati which you refer to as laat.

by the way, laat was a pegan god mentioned in Quran along with manaat, uzzaa and Hubul.

there is an urdu verse about laat - the way you call it, translation of which will ruin it but I will put it anyway for the benefits of others, you can ignore it:

Wo laat kay jiss kaa poori larraai main zikr naa thaa
wo laat unhain bahut nagawaar guzri hai sigh

PS: I agree with the part where you said Urdu speakers are funny.
