No, they don’t do this, what they actually do is lift their heads(in fear of loosing their pan) and then speak in a language that sounds like a gargle.They spit it later when they are done

In our office, there was this senior clerk who used to maintain leave record. Always doing mistakes and everyone was very much particular about their leaves. Now this senior clerk was used to have paan ki glori in his mouth all the time and it was a always a scene when someone had to argue for his / her leave balance with him
