The trend was started way before … Azadi Show and Eid show (drama) were first presented in 2001 and continued till 2003 .. organised by nia_khan and there was one person named Shazcad (sp?).. in which mods like NeScio also participated.. few prominent participent were proudpakistani007, Destinee 
I did a small part in most of them … normally the beginning…
I myself had posted audio recordings of several proses from Urdu Literature and couple of times my own creation… (back in 2001) … It just did not happen after 2003 and we can say the tradition might have RESTARTED up but certainly NOT invented to keep the record straight
