Friendliest Cities

Re: Friendliest Cities

Don't u get enuff desi food in UK? Go to the tons of various kinds of restaurants that NY is famous for.
As for shopping I'm assuming you want desi stores too? Cuz there's Saks Fifth and Tiffany's for your gawking pleasure. ;)

Re: Friendliest Cities

Kazi, have u ever had chinese/desi food? Theres plenty of halal restaurants, like Desi chinese king in jackson heights, about 10-15 minutes from Astoria, there's also 28th street in Manhattan, where you can get lots of good halal desi food, frm places liek Curry in a hurry, handi, and chinese mirch (desi-chinese).. for arab/gyro places, theres the famous 53rd n 6th.. i never been there so u can ask someone else how great it really is ..

For shopping, it really depends on what you're lookin for :) you can find plenty of souvenier shops on 34th street/times sq.. :)

Re: Friendliest Cities

Come oooooooon. New York the friendliest city in the world? You gotta be kidding. Isn’t the research institute that conducted this survey based in New York? What a coincidence.

Re: Friendliest Cities

The friendliest city is "Lahore", these surveyors need to fix their records. These "pagal day putar" dont even bother going to Lahore.

Re: Friendliest Cities

^ Lahore, friendly really?

going by their tests, i dropped something, and ppl just stare holes into you :o , if a person is in front of you, they will not hol the door open, they’d rather u get smacked in the face wit it, and salesgirls look at you as if you’re an alien if you say please or thankyou :snooty:
