I would think that it would last longer if you kept it in the fridge.

sara…as far as garlic. I only use fresh garlic cloves. If you keep them in the fridge they’ll last a while. when you are ready to use it just throw em in the mini processor and chop it up. Smells better in the food and is much tastier then using the already crushed garlic you find in jars…IMO.
