Not really, it was another phone call from masters to which NS obliged and asked Musharraf to retreat which he did but (then Musharraf and army) got mad at him for that.... hence the coup.

Whether army rules Pakistan or not, US still holds our 'dori' indirectly, we have only become a pawn in the game.
