I think a quicker thing could be to force teh uncle to give money to these people. he has power of attorney, but that comes with responsibility.
if the family business is makign money then that should be used to help one of teh brother's wife to pay her bilsl and keep her home.
appeal should also be made to the bank which owns the mortgage to work with the lady and hold up until this issue with teh crooked uncle can be resolved.
its very expensive for bansk to reposses homes and with current market it is in the bank's interest to work with the lady as well.
I find it disturbing that these civil rights champions want to start a letter writing campaign to try and force teh govts hand, but cant help teh family by handling some of the stuff that I noted above.
