Let me tell you about some close people having similar experiences in Pakistan…
We know a family and the man of the household says every morning when he set out for work he could smell a really strong sweet musk accompanying him for a certain distance and every evening when he returned home the musk would start again at the point where he had left it and accompany him back to his house and then fade as he got to his house… He didn’t think much of it and didn’t tell anyone but his daughter soon had a dream one day and saw a female Jinn in the form of a girl talk to her, the Jinni told her how she accompanies her father for a certain distance to watch over him because their family has some enemies who want to kill him…
There was another man too in our village who was friends with some Jinns, one day he was working on his field and he could smell Pillafs and Kebabs and other delicious foods but there was nobody around for a mile or so, so they came and told him that they’re having a wedding and they’re preparing a feast and he can have some...

What are the smell disorders?
People who experience smell disorders experience either a loss in their ability to smell or changes in the way they perceive odors. As for loss of the sense of smell, some people have hyposmia, which is when their ability to detect odor is reduced. Other people can’t detect odor at all, which is called anosmia. As for changes in the perception of odors, some people notice that familiar odors become distorted. Or, an odor that usually smells pleasant instead smells foul. Still other people may perceive a smell that isn’t present at all.

when no good fragrance arises from muslim humans why wud such a fragrance arise from muslim jinns????
and most importantly why wud their be any signs of their presence around us....
we dont really need to have any interactions with them....
unless someone comes with an authentic hadith to back up the "fragrance with muslims jinns around" theory, i'll only assume all this to be either a weham or a malfunction of the nose as i have posted above....

therefore I conclude that Barbie girl and myself are being haunted by ethereal ghostly entity type thingies which exude a beautiful perfume....

I'm not an expert, but it does sound like a jinn experience. If they can make people hear noices and see things, they could make people smell things too.
Wether or not it's positive is a different story. Perhaps it's better to recite surahs, even if it is just a smell and nothing else going on.
But I could be wrong of course. :)
