Family and friends of the missing activists have denied that they had anything to do with the blasphemous pages.
This is just a smear campaign against them.
Even if this were true we have laws to deal with such things. No excuse for arbitrarily disappearing people.

Can’t read urdu. So can’t read what was in those pages. So what if the pages have some text counter to religion. Blasphemy laws should be removed. I hear a Christian lady is facing death for some alleged blasphemy she committed. I don’t see much outrage re such miscarriage of justice.

Past is really past but lesson must be learnt. I agree that people of pakistan will not let this to happen but not the army of now. They are prone to more errors. They created another army in the form of afghanistan .. PPL say that afganistan was against pak from 1947. But we never needed to have that much army on afgan bordrs as now. That is the failed foreign policy of our army which works as a slave of USA. Once US ordered to create mujahidn , we did it. Than USA ordered to hand them over to USA one by one for some $$ / person , we ably did it. Now the reaction coming and u can see the language used by TTP ( Napak army , ****** punjabi army etc… ) why this all because our army didnt learnt . Gardan ka surya nikal hi nahi raha, . On the other hand the politicians remain taking their term as time to loot.

So u r in favour of this law less ness. keh govt ne nahi uthaya so it is a religious duty of agencies to kidnap these ppl. un ke karneee ko bohot aur kaam hain un par focus karain . These ppl even if they are writing all the bull **** which u shown may not be that dangerous than some one planning bomb blast. or some suicide bomber factory which is brain washing young kids to become killers. Go catch them . It will be more favour for this country and Islam rather than this act of kidnapping these bloggers.

Pl. give the ppl of pakistan rite to have awareness about various ideologies of the ppl. let them to decide what is wrong and what is rite. Pl. dont inforce your own thoughts and your own way of islam upon them.

Per the OP, one of the a ti ists was protesting intolerance in religion. Do you call that abuse of religion? Do you support intolerance? What is your opinion about the death sentence of a Christian lady who is also alleged to be “abusing religion”?

They were fitting an army general into quranic verse and mocking. if you think that is extra-judicial then there is govt and judiciary, they are watching. The fact is there has been many case of army arresting suspects. So it must be a law in our country as we dont see any hue and cry when an extremist suspect is arrested by intelligence agencies.

There is a civil way of protesting. I am all for minority rights and to protect innocent Muslims and Non Muslims from the misuse of Blasphemy Laws. Islam does not allow killings or disappearance of anyone without a trial.

However abusing religion (yes there are sarcastic writings on the holy personalities of Islam) by these bloggers. This is not liberalism, this is fascism Where does it say to look liberal and cool you swear at others and call it freedom of speech.
Islam is against swearing others religions or beliefs, as whatever comes in retaliation is the responsibility of the person who started it.

Salman Taseer was right in a way that he spoke about the misuse of the law. But he in his ignorance and arrogance used the wrong words and attacked the law itself.
There is so much to learn from Taseer’s incident for both sides. But unfortunately, we are a nation of extremists. Religious and Liberal extremists, we seldom take the middle road and solve things with dialogue and constructive criticism.

For me some of the work of these bloggers was inciting and as bad as what misusers of blasphemy law do.
