Forwarding cartoon e-mails

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

i dont know may be i am absolutely being wrong at this when i say this but i was thinking that Prophet(PBUH) dint utter a word at that time jub un per rubbish throw ki gyi by that lady and when that lady dint once do her move HE himself went to inquire abt that, and all He did was exercised forgiveness and now looking into this matter from the same point of view makes me confused k though it annoys us all yet how should v behave ??

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

^yes forgiveness is what Islam teaches us, but we should somehow let them know that it is not the right thing that they did..but the protests should be peace protests and proper dialogue should be the answer to all of this

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

Remember what was the reaction of Allah when lads of Taif moked and teased Sayyedna Mohammad:saw:. Yes, Sayyedna Mohammad:saw: forgave them but Allah:swt: didnot.

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

OMG, no matter how you justify it. You idea of defaming the religious figure of another religion is totally uncalled for.

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

OMG, forget the pope...just take part in the Holocaust Cartoon competition Iran's hosting.

Get someone who's witty, like Cheegum for the jokes...and u can do the drawings.

That shall fix these Europeans.

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

Sis OMG the Danish Christians don't have a pope, I think it's only the Catholic and Orthodox churches who have popes, the Danes mostly follow the Lutheran sect which is an offshoot of the Protestant sect.

Just for information sake, one of their favourite saints was St. Martin Luther, the founder of the Lutheran sect (not to be confused with the Black rights dude Martin Luther King).

It's not proper or inline with Islamic manners to insult other religions but I've been having the urge to do the same as you wish to, I was thinking maybe portray the Cross or the Fish sign in a demeaning way or tamper with a portrait of St. Martin Luther but I've been controlling it so far as it would be wrong to be insensitive to the feelings of all them Christians who had nothing to do with them cartoons.

Re: Forwarding cartoon e-mails

How can you suggest that being a Muslim an all?

Jesus :as: is our Prophet too.

It pisses me off when he too is portrayed in the media in a blasphemous way.

The same newspaper which printed those cartoons of Prophet Mohammed :saw: had been sent blasphemous cartoons of Jesus a year or so prior but they had rightly refused to print them, if only they had the same regard for our feelins.
