umer,it would be great if opinions of americanized pakis were according to the majority of people live here... u will neva find the same interest in these american pakis which u find i pakis living in pak ....americans pakis r nothing but bunch of dollar lover confuse people and yes i even dont mind calling this to my relatives living in new york and houston...
and yes only these american paki will be called as a pakistani if he has desire to again shift back to pak..thts a known fact tht majority of american pakis r away from their culture and dont have any wish to settle back in pak...

^^ I agree that quite a lot of Pakistanis living in the US don't even dream about moving back to Pakistan.
But there are a lot of exceptions and I don't think you should generalize your statement like that. I have quite a few of those "exceptions" in my family, ie relatives who either have moved back to Pakistan after living in the US for some years or are planning to do so soon.
And also the very fact that a lot of "American Pakistanis" are active members of this forum shows how much they relate themselves to Pakistan. Otherwise they wouldn't join a Pakistani forum, would they?

look guy1... you can never say that... all the people who are here are here because they belong to Pakistan in one way or another... if they were not pakistaniz they woul;dn't be bothered... and it just a forum to express one's opinions , and it always helps to get to know people from around the world .. there's no pount in being a "kunwayn ka Maindak " u see.

Hey i m an american paki too.....and i LOVE pakistan and i would do anything to stay there...since i m single and not allowed to stay alone there, i still go every year just bcoz i love my pak soooooo much. U shouldnt just make this sort of assumptions for everyone. There are always exceptions...I M ONE OF THEM. + i know many ppl who went back & also ppl that go there every year. Yeh watan ki mohabbat he hai jo hamein wahan le jaati hai...i think wahan rehnay walay logon ko pak ki itni qadar nahee hoti jitni ham pardesiyon ko hoti hai. Wahan tu ajkal ki nasl sirf uk/usa janay ke khwab dekhti hai aur kuch nahee.
