I’m scared of going into the fitting room too, although I was told there was a trick to see if it is a two-way mirror. If you touch the mirror and see your entire finger in the reflection, including the tip pressed against the mirror, then it is safe. If you don’t see the tip of your finger clearly, then it’s a two-way mirror. I don’t know how true it is, but I do this in every change room I go into and it makes me feel safer.
