Re: .... for smokers

yuk.

i also don't understand pplz fascination with hookah/sheesha.

Re: .... for smokers

Started with MORE menthol when I was 13
moved to Gold Leaf and B&H
then some time Dunnhill
then shifted to Devidoff
Now on Marlboro..

I left and started many times so its not a habit for me.

Besides I also smoked Garda, Marijuana, Hukka and Sheesha (Apple Flavor)

I also smoked only paper once.

ditto!

Ya.... we have a lot of Shisha bars here in Inglaaand now...... i see that it's the appropriate setting now for desi''s alike to meet and mingle with the opposite sex... i've lost count for how many times i've seen hijaabi's puffing away on what i assume to be double apple flavour.... so ironic. :)

LOL@Maroush
Yeah, in my queens neigh orhood there are lots of hookah bars----and they are chock full of desi teens hookin' up behind their parents backs.
I've smoked hookah myself a few times but cigarettes----blech. And my husband HATES smoking so I don't touch hookah anymore out of respect for his preferences.

Re: .... for smokers

I dont know how harmful smoking is but in UK it's considered more as 'a fashion', people just chill out and enjoy it. Even Sheesha is consdiered as 'having fun'. Far too many people smoke, even girls lol. Most people dont give a damn about these health warnings. Because you get cancer or whatever else when you are 60+ and beside if you smoke 'occassionally' then nothing happens and who calims smoking is addicted? It's not addicted if you have the will then you can give up.

I know one Uncle who's been smoking 20 cigarettes a day since last 20 yrs but he just gave up 2 months ago. He's only in his 40s and absolutely fine and just like many people, his reason behind giving up smoking was because he 'couldnt afford it' not because he got scared of health warnings lol.
