Oh oh I have one question..... why do "some" men crack more and more lame jokes when the wifey is angry about something and is communicating her displeasure? Especially when they know she's going to get even more mad? Do they enjoy the tirade/khamoshi (depending on wifey's nature) that comes after the jokes, or is it because they just can't handle the serious communication?

Maham the answers are a reflection of the questions. Every man is an individual with individual likes and dislikes. One of my friends likes petite thin girls. I like curvy girls. Another only digs japanese girls. A fourth only blondes. For every relationship to succeed there must be an element of physical attraction. So that is one the basic foundations. After that is common characteristics that developed their upbringing and personality. Someone who has lived in 10 countries in 28 years will not gel with a girl who has lived all her life in one town, never gone to say the capital city.
Your question is so generic I could write a PHD thesis on the matter and only cover one aspect of a relationship. Relationships are not easy. And their foundations have to be laid properly for it to work.

I'm not a male, but I know for a fact that men can't handle serious communication/discussions... they try their level best to avoid such type of discussions.. hence the lame jokes.. urghh..

Manisha why do women do the same? Its simply they are cut from a bad cloth.
Mia those men are aiming for 3 things:
1. The anger is not on a serious issue and they attempt to show you that
2. The humor is to try to break down your walls because when women are upset they vent to the SO and normally they are the target of aggression. And I know for a fact that once your husband gets you to smile your anger dissipates quickly.
3. They are idiots and just do it to get out of the firing line.
Number 2 is the most frequent use for humor.

Why does my husband not support me if i get into an argument with his mother? She is a trouble maker and i try my hardest with her nothing is ever good enough for her and when i voice my concerns to hubby all he says is compromise her mind is not working anymore.
