In Fallujah? I don't believe there were but a handful of true civilians, lots of sympathizers, lots of fighters, but not many true non-combattants. The civilians are now returning.

You belive a handful of civillians died in fallujah hmm since you like numbers heres a report from a pro amerikkkan newspaper whose source for information is British scientists on civillian deaths in iraq not including Fallujah and note they quote over 100,000 people mostly women and children unless in your warped world they count as soldiers.

A person whose life is in jeopardy, his security, lively hood, and family is being threatened, if he ties a bomb to his body and blows up a few of the attackers OR a person who is being ordered by an idiot sitting 9000 miles away to attack and kill the people of a foreign country in the name of pre-emptive strike???
Mind you according to Islam it’s a totally different story , Muslims who have paid the ultimate price of sacrificing their LIFE for their religion and security are greatly appreciated.(this statement can be substantiated by many Quranic verses, taken in any respect or context)
Many educated people of Pakistan specially buy newspapers every day to see how many American marines died that particular day, and we are just talking about the educated lot, who read the Quran in every context and perspective.

The fact of the matter is that the "insurgents" gathered in a city and put it at risk. Everyone with half a brain evacuated that city with their families. "Sympathizers" could be cooking for the rebels, hiding them, acting as lookouts for them or any other purposes beyond holding a gun.
I have zero sympathy for the city of Fallujah, and it's inhabitants. Zero. These are people who burn bodies and swing them from bridges. They reaped what they sowed.
Now we are trying to turn this into a propaganda victory by making the people of Fallujah into victims? Please folks.... The fighters in Fallujah were up for the fight. They wanted a fight. They fought bravely. They died, en masse, bravely. And that is where the story ends.
Everyone knew a big fight was coming, and most had the sense to evacuate. The rest are just butt stupid, or in sympathy with the fighters. Zero sympathy. Zero.

Where have you seen me cry for US troops? They are fair game. There is a war. they are big boys, and they know the risks. What offends me is the propaganda effort, with all of it's predictable elements, to try to paint the US as killers of innocents in Fallujah.
When Fallujah and other battles are made into heroic efforts by the mujahadeen on one hand, yet the consequences are always the fault of the US on the other, the propaganda becomes laughable. The particular article that started this thread is a prime example of the mountains of crap spewed tot he gullible masses to keep their anger up.
