Muslim men have to wear their garment above the ankles at all times because at the time of our beloved Prophet :saw: the rich pagans of Mecca use to show off by wearing long flowing robes which dragged behind them on the ground so we Muslims were forbidden from immitating them because Muslims are not allowed pride and wastage.

Here in this hadith important part is out of pride. but in salat the reason is also tahrat.

plus trousters that are below ankle level dont trail along the ground anyways, pride or no pride, xcept for the skater types whose jeans are barely on them anyways..

Quran & Sunna/Hadith. Forbid means haram.

Here’re the ahdith to proof what i said there, this is what i said

Why not? At the moment, i can’t find the best examples. Here’re few, Prophet(SAW) forbade us to use our right hands to wash our private parts after relieveing ourselves. What does it mean? Does it mean we can still use right hand but if we use left then it would be Prophet’s(SAW) sunnah not wajab?
Prophet’s(SAW) forbade men & women to shave/cut/trim/pluck their eyebrows. What does it mean? Are we still saying that it would be Sunnah if we don’t do it but it’s not wajab?

Salman farsi **was once asked: Your prophet teaches you everything, even how to relieve yourselves? **
Salman farsi said: Certainly… he forbade us from facing the Qiblah while doing so, from cleaning ourselves with our right hand, and from cleaning ourselves with less than three stones. We also should not use an impure substance or a bone to clean our selves (Muslim, Abu Dawood and At-Tirmidhy)

Therefore, it’s forbidden for us to use our right hands to clean our private parts after relieving ourselves!

**Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Allaah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows (al-naamisah) and the one who has it done (al-mutanammisah), and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5931; Muslim, 2125) **

Therefore, it’s forbidden to shave/cut/trim/pluck! The rulings apply to both men and women!

How are you? The one you stated is a fact. I have seen people folding their pants in Masjid and probably they have similar to Wahhabi beliefs. That is what I am still attempting to figure out.
