Yes a lot of CEOs and “big business people” tend to travel Business Class, but they are not the only ones. I’ve seen entire families with kids travel in Business Class too. If you have the money you can do that, regardless of whether you’re a CEO or not.
I have never paid extra for traveling Business Class, but have been upgraded for free a couple of times due to my Frequent Flyer Status. Apart from the extra leg space and more comfortable seats, the food is also better. At some airports you get preferential treatment on the immigration counters. And your luggage comes out on the belt prior to that of Economy Class passengers.
Not sure Kinzz, but please do ask this same question in the Travel forum, I am sure someone might be able to help you there .. I will try to find out more and will post in travel with the details collected
CB and others do you know how miles thingy work? Do they really give you a business class seat if available?
Yes they do. I have been upgraded due to that a number of times.
That happens in the following scenario:
All the Economy Class seats on a flight are fully booked and there's people on the waiting list for this flight. The airline will then check whether there are available seats in Business Class. If that is the case they will then look for passengers who do have a seat in Economy Class and are Gold level members of their frequent flyer program. Those people are then upgraded to Business and the Economy seat they vacated is given to someone from the waiting list. If there is still people on the waiting list after upgrading all the Gold level members, they will then start upgrading the Silver level members and give their Economy seats to people on the waiting list, provided there is still enough space in Business Class.

the airlines routinely overbook their ALL flights and they upgrade passengers in the economy class depending on what type of fare they paid and if you have certain frequent flyer status.
the regular economy class passengers who paid deep discounted fares are the last passengers to get upgraded as a last resort.
First/business class is nothing more than making someone . Separate entrance with red carpet, allowed bording before allowing the economy tickets holders, from terminal to the plane they’ll have buses with seats so u won’t going to stand for atleast two minutes drive to plane, wider (seats) space in a plane. If there is any delay in connected flight than they’ll give u seat in any first available plane on that destination, limited seats with more flight attendance. Any misbehave will be taken as complimentary.
