Lol @ classier fair play although we had dholis welcoming the baraat it was a proper fun entry so it was confetti galore and roses in the air lol

We had silk petals and to be honest whose going to notice them? Theyre going to be thrown and walked all over. Plus fresh flowers cost a bomb. If it was pakistan where stuff is so easily available and cheaper i would have used fresh but no one is going to notice. The only thing people will be noticing is
A) who your groom is what he looks like and what hes wearing
B) what youre wearing and everyone else
c) what time you finally enter so food can be served

The small details will only really be appreciated by you. I wouldnt waste money on fresh petals. On my entry i didnt want anything just me my mum and brother down the aisle

omg the classy part came across totally wrong! That’s not what I meant! Yikes, sorry! I just meant that glittery stuff is going to probably not go really well with my venue/decor for the baraat (it’s more subdued) vs the mehndi where I’m going all out colorful.

Yeah, I looked up flower petals and OMGGGGosh they’re expensive. I have to do more research on this freeze dried flower stuff because I’m just now hearing about it.
