When we got married on the nikaah i organised my sides button hole flowers boutiners lol cant spell it but i got my hubbys as i wanted him to have one in contrast to my bouquet.

Hubby organised his sides.
When he arrived on mehndi we did colorful confetti

Baraat day we just did flower petals thrown and colorful confetti. I avoided the whole maalaa haars as again my hubbys family is huge and fresh ones were expensive and fake ones i didnt like. On my cousins wedding they only put it on the groom and fed his parents mithai etc when they entered

Valima day husvand organised his families button holes while i did his because again i wanted a peacock feather incoroprated for him and couldnt leave thay to him lol

For the flower petals for the shaadi, did you use real ones? I’m looking at freeze dried and fake silk but I’'m scared they’ll look cheap. Hmm I like the confetti throwing idea at the mehndi…that might actually also work for the shaadi too but I want it to be classier so flower petals might be better!
