So for people with low IQ such as myself, what is flooding ? The only flooding I know is when bloody sump pump stops working on the day it is needed most.

You can have a dual pump installed, always a great idea. Keep a submersible pump handy. Make sure water is draining away from home and maintain proper slope. Check Sump pump on an yearly basis. As per the thread peeps being silly.
