naa i am not in NY but 30 min away from there!!! NJ is a different state 
but my abbu was there in NY, when dis happend!! it was certainly a very sad for all of us. 
but we were able to see all the fire n smoke from our place!!

yes... not just me.. everyone who lives across the river saw all the fire n smoke :( but we couldn't hear anything.. its abt 40 miles from here yar..
