we do, but no one uses them for transportation.
either use cars, buses, bikes, feet, or plane.
trains are mostly used for transporting goods.
in germany the most common means of transport are trains, buses and the tramp.

hmm to correct myself we do have a sort of train. but it is used only near the downtown area. & that was only put in bec they wanted the olympics to come to our city. It was suppose to make transportation from the stadiums easier.
