Yes , I have sent this email to the local charities and fund raising companies … Plus plan to get it up in libraries and any other public boards i can manage

I have sent CM's email (with some additions and omissions) to the interfaith community here and at work and received a good response so far.. donations are still coming (ranging from $10.00 to $100.00) and I will be sending them to my brother in law who as an airforce officer is doing a lot of relief work in the devastated area! I have already sent out $800.00 collected through friends.. inshaAllah will be sending another $1000.00 or more soon!

This is not a situation that will be resolved quickly.
We will continue to need these funds for a long time.

Just go approval from my HR manager to send CM's mail with some modifications to company wide mailing list. With around 800+ employees, I hope we can get at least 3k-4k in Canadian Registered charity to get it doubled by Canadian Govt.
