Re: Five Things

This is such a lovely thread :)
1) My family- despite the arguments, tears and tantrums- sitting and eating dinner together, the daily jokes, teasing and chatter
2) Waking up early before my alarm clock goes off in the morning, and realising "yes, another hour in a nice comfy warm bed"
3) When my phone rings and it's the one person i've spent all day thinking about
4) Feeling positive about the challenges that lie ahead, making progress with wedding planning, etc.
5) Being surrounded by caring, funny, crazy friends.

I could probably list a dozen more, great idea for a thread :)

Re: Five Things

1- My existence as an entity in this world as good as can be expected. Having all the great things at my disposal.

2- The responsible parties who accomplished that. God/Allah Almighy and my parents.

3- People I came across in this world to learn something good. This include people who are/were not so good but still taught me to be good, by me avoiding what they did.

4- Lovely and nice women,…and off course Almighty who created them.

5- Whoever fed me great spicy desi home made food through the years…:hehe:

Re: Five Things

In no particular order:

  1. My life (hubby and I were in a car accident recently) Allah ka shukur hai we were both unharmed
  2. My husband - Love him to pieces sigh
  3. My job security and salary - Being a bureaucrat never felt this good...esp in such harsh economic times
  4. My mom - Love her more than life itself
  5. My health - recently found out I have hypothyroidism but at least I have my eyes, arms and legs and am still able bodied. I thank Allah for that. People take it for granted. I never want to take that for granted.
